Last month, George's kitchen was taken over by an upcoming London chef collective Five Cooks and a Cocktail. Members’ and their guests were welcomed to the Club with a Bombay gin based cocktail a Red Celia cocktail in the Bar while guest DJ Piers Thompson spun on the decks.
Soon the inviting aroma from the kitchen began to stir people’s appetites, calling them into the Restaurant. Starters of Dorset Crab and Wild Garlic Crotini followed by Nettle Tagiatelle with Salted Ricotta, Peas and Mint started the evening. The use of fresh spring-time ingredients continued throughout the menu with a main course of Spring Lamb, Asparagus, Jersey Royals and Broad Beans and a dessert of Almond and Polenta Cake with Caramelized Blood Oranges and Yoghurt Sorbet.
Once dinner concluded, the night was far from over as DJ Piers Thompson playing in the Bar with Members’ revelling into the early hours of the morning.
