George introduces the first in our series of 'Champagne of The Month'. The team at George have paired with our Champagne expert, Group Head Sommelier, Clement Robert, to provide a new exceptional House Champagne each month.
Throughout May, we introduce a selection of Billecart-Salmon Champagnes, from their award-winning range of classic Champagnes. Billecart-Salmon is not only rich in history, having been founded in 1818 by husband and wife Nicolas François Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon, but it is also one of the few Champagne houses to date that remains family-owned. These iconic Champagnes will be on offer at a special price, by the glass, throughout the month of May.

In celebration of World Gin Day, Saturday 8th May, George will be launching 100 of the finest Gin's to the Menu at George. Served from the George Drinks Trolley by our talented bar team, there will be 20 special serves from the George Gin & Tonic Menu, with options including Members will also be able to choose from the 100 new Gins on the menu to build any Gin cocktail of their choosing, with the help of our Masters of Mixology to do all the heavy lifting of course.

In this interactive and life-enhancing talk, hosted by Bookomi's Richard Kilgarriff, Viv explains how you can get over anxieties about public speaking that most of us (including Viv) naturally have.

As a stand-up, a critic and an executive performance coach Viv is perfectly placed to give this talk, as she shares her first-hand experience of standing up and making an impression simply by being yourself.

Masterclass Series | Poker Night

When was the last time you learnt a new skill? Whether you want to impress your family and friends with a new talent, or simply want a new way to while away the longer summer days, join us in our new 'Beginner to Winner' series, as we invite the professionals for interactive games masterclasses in The Bar. Starting with Poker, Members are invited to 'learn as you play', being guided through the rules of the game by our professional hosts. Those new to the game can learn completely from scratch, and those with a little more experience can pick up tips and ask questions, as well as benefiting from a refresher course before we start the tournament. Remember to bring your best poker face!

Music feeds the soul and brings people together, and with our increasingly busy lives it's always good to take a moment to sit back and enjoy the music. Join us in The Bar on Saturday 15th June from 7pm, as we invite global singer songwriter Michael Duke, for a live performance. Inspired by all the great Soul, R&B and Pop performers of the last four decades, Michael's incredible range and vocal abilities instantly evoke musical legends such as Marvin Gaye, Prince and many more. Join us on Saturday 15th June to be washed over by Michael's incredible vocals, as you sip away on your preferred tipple and enjoy some of our delicious dishes from our Bar Menu.

Fathers are invited to sit back and join us on The Terrace as we lay out a sofa for you to relax on, cigars to puff on, and an excellent selection of the finest Johnnie Walker whiskies to sip on. 

Each Father attending will be be gifted their very own engraved bottle of whisky to take home with them.

Join us on Sunday 16th May as we dedicate the day to the special men in our lives; our Fathers, with a variety of games, gifts and treats to spoil them. A virtual shooting range simulator will be set up in The Bar, where little ones and their Fathers' can compete for prizes including, Father and Child Boot set provided by the iconic, handcrafted boot-makers, Le Chameau. There will also be a host of activities including 'What Does a Dad do' trivia games, Father's Day card-making, and many more.

A caricature artist will also be on hand to put pen to paper and show the Father's how extremely handsome they are!

Womenswear Design Director for the oldest fashion house in the world, Pringle, Fran Stringer will be in conversation with fashion writer Abigail Gurney-Read. The pair will be discussing Pringle of Scotland’s famous heritage, a discussion on the historical brands adaption to the modern world, Fran’s vision for the brand, the new collections and how women dress today. During the evening there will be a prize draw to win vouchers to spend in Pringle’s flagship Mount Street store, or a personal monogrammed scarf.
Members will also have the opportunity to win a range of raffle prizes including, a £500 and £250 Pringle of Scotland vouchers to spend in store and a beautiful monogrammed scarf. Each guest will also receive a £100 Pringle of Scotland voucher to spend in store.

Join us for an 'Active Fashion' breakfast talk with designers Anjhe Mules and Zoë Jordan. Anjhe Mules, founder of high-fashion, high-performance active-wear brand, Lucas Hugh, and Zoë Jordan, founder of the eponymous contemporary knitwear label designed with an active lifestyle at its core. Both women built their brands as the world of wellness and fitness exploded into far more than a passing trend. The women will be discussing why wellness is the new luxury, why working out with friends has replaced after work drinks, how your tribe is defined by the classes you sweat in and how women's wardrobes are changing to accommodate this. They will also be talking about how they have built their brands and understand what their customer wants. Following the talk, Members and guests will be able to purchase items from each brands line at exclusive prices.

Painting Workshop
Saturday 29th June | 4pm-6pm | The Restaurant 

Whether you're a painting prodigy or enthusiastic novice, all skill levels are welcome to join the second in our Carafes & Canvas Workshop series in The Restaurant at George. Armed with acrylics, brushes, and a carafe of wine, you will create your own Monet-inspired masterpiece with the help of our talented art tutor. 

Carafes & Canvas includes a 2-hour step-by-step art class, a 375ml carafe of wine, and a selection of pre-dinner canapés.
